This sale is for 5 lbs. of DI (Deionization - Demineralized) resin. This 5 lbs. bag will provide resin for refills in the refillable in-line filter housing or the refillable cartridges that fit inside a standard 10" or 20" housing and the larger cartridges that fit inside a BB 10" or 20" housing - all of these items are offered here on our web site.
This high grade nuclear DI resin, when installed as the final process in a 5 or 6 stage RO system, will provide high quality water. Reverse Osmosis systems are capable of removing 90% to 98% of the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in the source water. If your water usage requires TDS at/or near zero (0), installation of a DI filter, after the RO membrane, is the answer.
