Color Changing DI Resin for Replacement of Refillable Water Filter Housing.
This sale is for 24 ounces (1.5 lbs.) of DI (Deionization - Demineralized) resin. This 24 ounce bag will provide resin for refills of the refillable in-line filter housing or the refillable cartridges that fit inside a standard 10" or 20" housing and the larger cartridges that fit inside a BB 10" or 20" housing - all of these items are offered here on our web site.
This high grade DI resin, with color indicator (changes from blue/green to brown) to identify when the resin is exhausted.
When installed as the final process in a 5 or 6 stage RO system, 6 ounces of this resin will process an average of 500 to 600 gallons of water. Therefore, this 24 ounces of DI resin will process between 2,000 to 2,400 gallons of high quality water.
Reverse Osmosis systems are capable of removing 90% to 95% of the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) in the source water. If your water usage requires TDS at/or near zero (0), installation of a DI filter, after the RO membrane, is the answer.
