20 Inch Big Blue Whole House Water Filter - includes Sediment Filter, Ball Valve and Wrench
This single 20" x 4.5" Big Blue whole house water filter has one inch threaded inlet and outlet ports The housing is suitable for use with 4 1/2 by 20 inch filters. One sediment filter is included in this package.

**One (1) reinforced heavy duty PVC ball valves (maintenance free and corrosion free) - to be used on either the inlet or the outlet side of a whole house water unit. On the inlet side it can be used to shut off the incoming water supply. On the outlet side of the whole house water filter unit it can be used to shut off the back flow of water from the water pipes located at a higher level and thereby avoid a water spill when changing the filter elements. The ball valve is shipped un-installed to avoid unit damage during shipment.

SEDIMENT FILTERS
These 20 inch x 4.5 inch sediment filters are made of 100% high purity polypropylene, surfactant free, binder free and adhesive free. These sediments have a special design to trap particulates. Four layers, with outside-in flow and step-by-step micron rating that effectively retains particles and extends the filter life with a much lower pressure drop. Sediment filters are in compliance with FDA requirements and they are NSF Standard 42 certified. Specifications; One (1), five (5), ten (10) or twenty five (25) micron rating, up to 15 gallon flow rate, 20" length and 4.5 OD"
They have great particle holding capacity and are being used in a variety of applications such as pre-filters for reverse osmosis systems, pre-filters for water filtration units, aquarium pre-filters and being used as sediment collectors for whole house systems.
